An Update from the Pastor about Coronavirus:
Dear St. Paul’s Family,
Due to Governor Wolf’s recent “Stay-at-Home” order for Lehigh and Northampton counties, our church services will be canceled until further notice. Because religious institutions are exempt from this order the church office will remain open for the few employed here as we continue practicing “social distancing” and sanitizing daily.
Given the continued desire to follow the requests of our governing authorities and to remain compassionate to the needs of our church members, Pastor Dave is doing phone “visits”. If you need a phone “visit”, please contact Pastor Dave. If he doesn’t answer right away, please leave a voicemail and he will return your call as soon as possible.
A Sunday worship service via live stream will be available with our organist, Stephen playing the hymns, Mark Ruch sharing his voice in song, and Pastor Dave sharing a message. A link to watch the upcoming service will be provided to you soon via email. Be sure to watch and be inspired!
We are trying to locate the person/administrator of the St. Paul’s Northampton Facebook page? We would like to use this page for live streaming, updates and outreach. If you or someone you know is the administrator, please contact the church office at 610-261-2910.
Also, please continue your giving to St. Paul’s. In this season of limited gatherings, it is so crucial to the financial wellbeing of our church. We have a few members giving their tithes and offerings online through our web page. It’s easy to do by clicking the yellow donate button on the bottom of our home page. If you prefer, you can mail your check in to the church office. Giving envelopes are provided in your quarterly envelope pack if you choose to do so.
Lastly, remember to pray for our members, community and nation. Pray for our heroic medical doctors, nurses and health care professionals who put their lives on the line for their neighbors. Pray for the complete eradication of the Coronavirus. I’m reminded of the following Scripture:
“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:14
