About the Church Pastor's Corner Organizations Happenings @ St. Paul's Upcoming Events @ St. Paul's

Happenings at St. Paul's:

Summer Schedule:

Please note that from June 6th through September 5th our worship time will change to 9:30 a.m.

Our Church's 100th Anniversary:

Tickets for our 100 th Anniversary Dinner on Nov. 7 will be on sale beginning Sunday, Sept. 12. Ticket sellers are Shirley Edwards, Phyllis Bartholomew, and Miriam Nachesty. Tickets are $10.00 each and names of each ticket holders will be recorded. We have a limit of 200 tickets for the seating at St. John’s church in Howertown. For fundraisers we continue to sell the clothing items. In addition we have very beautiful 2011 Wall calendars to sell @ $6.00 each. All of these items make good Christmas gifts also. Thank you for your support in keeping our ticket cost very affordable.

We are planning a procession to meet near Zion Lutheran Church, on Main St., gathering outside @ 9:15 and beginning our walk up to St. Paul’s upon the ringing of our restored tower bell. Parents must be with children who choose to participate. A precise meeting place will be announced and the Northampton Police will be requested to be present. This should be a very memorable experience noting the beginning of St. Paul’s from Zion Lutheran Church 100 years ago.

Our worship service will feature our annual all Saint’s day observance, the sermon preached by our Conference Minister Allen Miller, the celebration of Holy Communion using some of our historical Liturgy and special music.

At the luncheon we will recognize membership milestones of the following: the oldest member/the longest confirmed membership/the oldest baptized member/the longest married couple @ St. Paul’s/the newest married couple @ St. Paul’s/the newest birth- baby baptized @ St. Paul’s. If you think you meet the criteria for recognition on any of these please call the church office. Anyone thinking about wearing 1910 fashioned clothing? Let us know.

Laity Sunday:

For Laity Sunday, October 10 our theme for the worship service will be “God Sightings.”

If you wish to be in the small group of folks who will share their experience(s) of seeing God in our world please let Pastor Todd know. The worship service is always powerfully inspiring.
